The United States ought to adjust its policy & oppose communist China's attempts to take over Taiwan.
Taiwan is a stable and prosperous democracy, and the United States should recognize Taiwan's freedom and sovereignty.

The official policy of the U.S. with regards to Taiwan should be one that affirms Taiwan's independance and right to a self-governing democracy. The U.S. should not consider Taiwan to be part of communist China.
