Support Homosexual Marriage

We, citizens of NSW, the undersigned, want gay marriage to be legal in Australia. The Commonwealth Marriage Act 1961, contains no actual definition of marriage. And now the government will amend the Marriage Act, which opposed recognizing same-sex marriages inside Australia or registered marriages overseas. In addition, under the Family Law Act 1975, the government also legislates to oppose same-sex couples adopting children. The Marriage Act 1961 and the Family Law Act 1975 discriminate against same-sex couples. In Australia, the fundamental role to the Federal Government is to ensure equal rights for all citizens, regardless of sex, religion, disability, ethnicity, race or sexual orientation. Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy equal rights.

People should have the right to marry the one they love. It is a human right to choose own lifestyle to live. A homosexual is different from a heterosexual. Even though homosexual and heterosexual are not the same, homosexual is not abnormal.

In Australia, 3% of population is homosexual. Please understand personal sexual preference. Homosexual marriage is as loving and worthy as heterosexual marriage. We, as citizens, as human beings, should not be prejudiced against people who have sexual attraction only to people of the same sex.
