Background (Preamble):
Rice Street is almost a mile in length, however, there are no means of enforcing the 30 mile-hour speed limit. Children who play on or near this street are at risk for pedestrian crash injuries.
Petition:
We, the residents of Rice Street, petition the City of West Memphis to install speed humps on Rice Street between Broadway and Vanderbilt to slow vehicle traffic to the set speed limit.
