Lower Ohio's Drinking Age to 18 Years of Age

Target: The state of Ohio
Background (Preamble):
The drinking age was raised to 21, up from 18, in 1992 when the federal government said they would cut states highway funding by 10% if they did not raise their state drinking age to 21.

To me this seems like blackmail but the government has said otherwise. In the end, the states have final say and I would like to get this issue on the ballot in November of 2007.
Petition:
At the age of 18, we are considered adults therefore we should be allowed to consume alcohol. By signing this petition, you agree with this and are a registered voter. This issue should have no problem becoming a law if we get the needed number of signatures to get it on the ballot.

All colleges around Ohio will have a chance to sign this. Let's take action and make our voices heard.
