As Many of you know, Gas prices have been rising substantially over the course of the last two to three years.
What you may not know, is that the United States of America has an abundance of oil in Alaska and elsewhere. The problem is that the Environmental Protection Agencies have protected the Alaskan terrain as national park land, and therefore, cannot permit drilling.
As the Middle Eastern countries are being less than cooperative, with gas at $4.22 a gallon and rising, something must be done.
We, the undersigned, call on the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to lease land in Alaska to oil drilling companies for a certain period of time to help relieve our economy from rising gasoline prices.
