Two years after Lithuanian independence, in 1993 Roman Dambski became Grand Duke Roman II of Lithuania, and then in 2005 he proclaimed Lithuania a constitutional kingdom.

King Roman of Lithuania is the son of Prince Roman Dambski I (1901-1967), who married Paulina (1905-1993), the eldest child of Prince Wladislaw Gedroyc (1862-1943), at Lwow in 1927.

The Lithuanian Government and President do not wish to disturb their status quo, and refuse to tell the Lithuanian people that they have a humanitarian king.

We the undersigned hereby petition the Lithuanian Government and President to advise the Lithuanian people that they have a king, and make early arrangements for King Roman of Lithuania to be crowned.
