Change name of Croatian Hall

The Croatian community erected and named a hall in honor of their World War 2 Nazi collaborator leader and fugitive war criminal Dr Ante Pavelic in the 1970's despite fierce opposition from the Serbian population who were victims of the most horrendous acts of violence Europe has ever seen.
Under Pavelic's rule 700,000 Serbs, Jews and Gypsies were slaughtered in the most brutal manner be it in in their homes, churches and infamous concentration camps such as Jasenovac. This was in keeping with Pavelic's policy of Killing one third of the Serbian population, deporting a third and converting a third to Roman Catholocism.
Therefore it is no wonder why this hall is of the greatest insult to the Serbian people of Australia. We are not so much insulted by the Croatian community as we are from the Australian authorities for allowing it to be called this all to this present day despite Ante Pavelic being Europe's most wanted war criminal.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, hereby request that the Australian authorities force the Croatian community to change the name of their hall 'Dr Ante Pavelic' in Whitehall St, Footscray as it is very inappropriate especially given that he was the Allie's most wanted war criminal following the war while in hiding.
