The Gulf spill has been occurring over too long a period with only failed attempts to control the massive leak.
There was a leaky valve that was known to have existed for years on the well. Why wasn't that repaired?
We the undersigned call for the immediate resignation of the BP president and the nomination of person who will oversee the secure installation of future wells.
BP should also be forthcoming to pay for damages to the affected industries, the damaging of the gulf coastline and the ruining of livelihoods in the area.
