1. Philadelphia's Musical & Cultural History-Labelle

The International female group “Labelle” is recognized as the funk rock-psychedelic soul girl band. This in itself is outstanding history for a female vocal group of color. “Labelle” has traveled and performed in the European market and the United States spreading this unique style of music artistic expression in other countries, for religious and government dignitaries. They have really functioned as Musical and Cultural Art leaders of Philadelphia simply by sharing their culture, music and artistic styles with the world.
These ladies are celebrating more than fifty years in the entertainment arts and they are still a viable brand as well as having solo careers within the entertainment arts. They have been a part of transforming racism, cultural issues, style and education within the entertainment arts for more than fifty years. They are revered by their colleagues and fans alike. When “Labelle” comes to mind, you immediately think of their most famous song, "Lady Marmalade" in 1974, providing their audiences with an electrifying, moving, exciting, and entertaining stage performance.
They are notable for being the first contemporary pop/funk rock group and first black pop group to perform at the Metropolitan Opera House, The Erlanger Theatre, and listed on the wall at the Apollo Theater with other musical legendary artists. The female group members are Pattie LaBelle, Nona Hendryx, and Sarah Dash who are innovating, inspiring, and exciting to watch on stage. In 1976 each member went on to pursue their own solo careers with extraordinary success.

2. Philadelphia's Musical & Cultural History-The Three Degrees

The Three Degrees, are known internationally and have earned numerous accolades throughout the years. The Three Degrees have performed for Kings and Queens, Government and Religious dignitaries including global audiences and they are still going strong. They are celebrating more than 52 years in the entertainment arts. When the Three Degrees come to mind, you immediately think of their most famous song, "When Will I See You Again", and the vision of three beautiful women of color, perfectly coordinated in both their dance routines and their vocal harmonies. The Three Degrees current lineup includes Helen Scott, Valerie Holiday, and Freddie Poole with a legacy of multi-platinum and gold hits to their credit.
The Three Degrees original start took place in Philadelphia approximately 5 decades ago. The Three Degrees made a cameo appearance in the movie, "The French Connection", singing "Everybody Gets To Go To the Moon", portraying themselves in a cabaret scene. In 1972, they aligned their recording destiny with Gamble & Huff singing super hits from Philadelphia International and the rest is history. The Three Degrees are the longest running female vocal group in the world…for confirmation of this fact check the Guinness Book of Record.

3. CS:GO #StopSmurfs

Well CS:GO its a game with a ranking system, there are some players which create another account and purchase another copy of the game, those players are called "Smurf".
Normally smurfs comes from hight ranks and they should play with other players based on that rank. When they "Smurf" that's not possible, Eg: a Rank 100 player have more experience and skill than a Rank 5 player for example, so probably Rank 5 player will lose the match and if it is in the team of player wich has Rank 100 the Rank 5 player can rank up without having skill or experience.
Smurf's generate another problem, Rank 5 player will think the Rank 100 player it's cheating and will report it, Overwatch team recieves a lot of empty reports (reports where there is no cheats), probably if smurfs gone, overwatch will get less empty reports and will be easier to detect real cheaters.

4. Hold Global Technology Companies Accountable - NO Muslim Register

A news story peaked my interest today. Tech giant IBM has written an open letter to Donald Trump, offering its tech services. You can find the letter here:

Most of the actual proposals in the letter are benevolent. Yet, IBM offers its extensive data intelligence services to a President-Elect who is contemplating creating a national register of Muslims. It does not explicitly say it will not cooperate on such an initiative.

In IBM's case particularly this has a disturbing connotation, as it onc3 was instrumental in identifying, registering and cataloguing Jewish citizens from 1933 throughout WWII. This has been meticulously documented in Edwin Black's book, see here:

This petition asks you to hold IBM and all other tech providers accountable in NOT enabling the creation of a national register of any particular group and to NOT sell their technology to enable racial profiling of any sort.

It asks journalists to investigate and monitor any developments in this space and report on them so that the public may know what’s going on.

Global tech companies are powerful players and can help solve many problems. They should take a stand and publicly denounce an initiative which targets a particular religious or ethnic group. They should refuse to tender for Government services if their technology is used in this way.

Please sign this petition and help build global pressure on technology providers to act ethically.

The petition will be delivered to the PSC, which is the peak body of service providers to government.

5. Raise the base pay from $12.00 to $18.00 and add pay differential for different shifts

This petition's goal is to raise the minimum base bay of $12.00 hourly up to $18.00 hourly for everyone on AOL Tactical Operations. Current pay raises will reset in an effort to restart this programs' pay at a more appropriate pay level. Plenty of other positions offered in similar companies such as Datto and Maximus pay their employees $20.00 or more hourly.

Being that America Online's net worth ranked in at $4.4 billion on June 23rd, 2015, it is fair to say it's small team at the triage desk that is called AOL Tactical Operations deserves a higher pay rate. Companies like Costco pay cashiers a starting wage at $14.00 an hour average up to $22.00 hourly and have overtime. AOL Tactical Operations has no overtime, healthcare isn't covered without an additional fee to your bi-weekly checks, and the requirements of this 24/7 program are extremely high and demanding for a job that doesn't have much opportunity for advancement. This job requires skills that are beyond starter career level, however the pay is equivalent to starter jobs elsewhere with minimal skills.

AOL Tactical Operations has helped AOL raise the profit margin by a huge percentage and deserves to be paid fairly for their hard work and dedication. Without room for advancement, or rewards for going above and beyond, AOL Tactical Operations only true incentive for working is to be able to put food on the table at home and make it through another financially hard month after another financially hard month.

6. Pledge 2 Boycott - companies leaving the UK

Since the UK referendum on the 23rd of June 2016 and number of international, global or even British companies have suggested that they might abandon the UK.

This could have massively detrimental effects on our economy just when we need all the help that we can get. We might want to remember their lack of loyalty when they want to return when it doesn't work out.

These companies are from a variety of sectors including manufacturing, financial and transport businesses. They will potentially disregard job losses nationally.

They don't consider the costs that they could face if we as consumers stopped using them. They might live to regret it if the European Economy collapses as we emerge as a leading economy.

They consider that they will face additional costs due the so called 'Brexit'. Together we can let them know that they also face massive costs if they dessert us.

Together we can pledge to boycott them now and in the future. We can refuse to buy their products and use their services. We can remember that when they want to come back to us, that they stabbed us in the back!

7. Nomorescam: Stop Translator Scams and Non-Payers

The global translation industry is expected to grow significantly for the foreseeable future according to the Department of Labor. Despite this expansion, the industry is experiencing negative impact from the emergence of platforms such as Smartling, Unababel, Hyperlingo, Upwork, One Hour Translation and other sites. Most of these online platforms pay ridiculously low rates, some as little as $8 an hour! This, of course, is putting downward pressure on the overall market and consequently rates are being pushed down for translators who are not utilizing these platforms for their clients. Another critical issue is the fact that there is no standardization in the industry protecting translators from clients who are scammers and non-payers.

There is a marked increase within the past few years in companies that set up shop solely to scam translators and many have no intention whatsoever of paying the translator for services rendered. They run this scam until all resources are tapped, declare themselves bankrupt and start up again as a new company with a different name. Many companies have now incorporated this ruse as part of their business model using lame excuses after the project is completed and submitted that the translation is of inferior quality resembling that of a machine translation or Google Translate, or their client has not yet paid them hence they can not pay you or even worse they are not solvent and have no cash flow or operating expenses. This is becoming an increasing frequent problem and it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

There is a need for some type of organization or support system for the translator in the vetting process of new clients in order to minimize this onerous risk and loss of income. It is in the best interest of the entire translation ecosystem including the brokers, trade associations, etc. to band together and eradicate these criminals from our infrastructure. The translator community is too fragmented to take this issue on by ourselves – we need the backing and support of the translation institutions at large!

8. Outlaw Food Waste

Spain and France have already passed regulations regarding food waste. We employ the world to follow suit. Voters, figureheads of governments and corporate lobbyists have signed below from various nations.

With Americans throwing out 165 billion dollars worth of food every year and the same being replicated across the globe, it turns into an issue of human rights. It is morally wrong that people are starving on the street when only 15% of all this wasted food would be enough to feed more than 25 million people every year.

Globally 805 Million people suffered from undernourishment between 2012-2014. There is already an underlying want as such movements have happened throughout history. Here we are trying to represent that want.

9. Pledging ARMISTICE over SYRIA

Would you please call out IMMEDIATELY a THREE-MONTHS period of ARMISTICE over SYRIA!

And start INVESTIGATING the actions in form of recent AIR STRIKES as committed by all three responsible powers through their world leaders:

1. US President BARACK OBAMA,

3. Russia's Prime Minister VLADIMIR PUTIN.

10. Declare access to uncensored and unrestricted internet a human right

Knowledge is power.

Easy, fast-access information is the key to bringing equal power to a populace that all need knowledge on current events, medicine, arithmetic and other things to survive and thrive. Easy access to knowledge has turned our world into more of a global consciousness than it has ever been.

The control of knowledge, or the restriction of knowledge and information has always given power to the wrong people. During the dark ages, when the catholic church wanted people to only believe what they told them to believe, they would destroy books and documents from civilizations all over the world so that nothing could question their doctrine.

Governments - your government, our government, every government, also benefit from the control of information because they can convince people to vote the way they want and to quietly comply to demands that without important knowledge, no one would know enough about their own human rights to question. A lot of times more elite members of society - the rich, the politically connected, those who have the most to gain by selling commercial ideas instead of information or connections to humanity - have used restrictions on knowledge and bombardment of twisted information to get what they want out of the poorer populace. An informed citizen gets their information from multiple sources and scrutinizes it heavily.

As a generation with the internet we have the option to access instant uncensored information, which is something that no generation has previously had, and something that governments don't want anyone to have if it means it can threaten their absolute power to make decisions for a populace, whether that populace is willing or not.

Governments all over the world including China, Russia, and the United States are trying to either censor or control content or access to content on the internet.

Here in the "land of the free" it started with SOPA ( "Stop Online Piracy Act") and PIPA ("PROTECT IP Act").

SOPA and PIPA were bills proposed by Congress in the guise of stopping online piracy by giving the attorney general of the United States authority to command internet service providers to shut down Domain Name Server records that point people to a site, and force Google and other search engines to shut down links to sites that the attorney General expresses official disapproval of. This was proposed so that the United States could prevent people from pirating movies, music, and other goods with copyrights belonging to corporations or businesses, meant to be sold for their profit only. However, the ability to command a website be taken down and access to information be cut off had widespread censorship implications, so activists started petitions, took to the streets, and demanded that Washington drop both bills.

So the government, instead of respecting the demand for access to uncensored and unrestricted information, decided it needed to regroup and try another tactic.

That's where the FCC, the Federal Communications Commission, comes in. While claiming to be working towards Net Neutrality, the FCC proposed, then passed rules saying service providing companies can charge content providers for faster access to their sites, potentially creating "fast lanes" and "slow lanes" on the internet, which would ensure that poor people or new businesses will receive less traffic if they aren't able to pay fees for faster access for their potential customers.

Internet users and activists reacted about the same way as they did to SOPA and PIPA.

In response, Democratic lawmakers proposed a bill that would stop the FCC from allowing ISP providers from creating "fast lanes" and "slow lanes" on the internet by charging for speed of access, but the bill neglects to address the issue of anyone claiming authority over the internet, something that belongs to the entire populace that participates in its constant creation, in the first place.

So, we've come up with a proposal of our own, to declare uncensored and unrestricted access to the internet a universal human right, and to declare the internet a collective-belonging, which means that no person or entity, whether government or corporate, has the right to declare authority over it in the first place.

11. International Gamers Day (IGD) On August the 1st

All across the world people kill other people, wars are raged, revolutions started, uprisings killed, sometimes we as a human race feel alone and separated, but there is one thing that brings us together.

Gaming is a global pastime that many enjoy day to day. People meet friends, significant others, and many others through gaming. Games give us jobs, careers, and worlds to dwell into to leave ours behind.

Millions love games, and I believe as I type this that an "International Gaming Day" should be established to bring all of us together once a year for a global holiday!

I believe that August the first is just a day for that!

If religions should be the cause for peace then where are we leading to?

13. Support the cleanest and safest methods for obtaining fuel, fertilizers, dyes, and water

History reminds of nazi control, gas chambers in slavery times and in new age times, torture was encouraged. States such as Alabama, welcome Monasato, who promotes the strongest chemical and product.

We recommend education to those within this community and everywhere. It has become a global crisis affecting children globally.

Ethanol, Chemtrails and war remind us all to defend our planet and health.

14. Global Collaboration, Curing Cancer

Many of you may have seen the 'Stand up to Cancer' campaign which was aired on Channel 4 in October 2012, which asked for public donations in order to fund Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK are the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through scientific research.

According to Cancer Research UK, they are on the cusp of many cancer treatments, however there is a gap between the discoveries coming out of the lab and the number that they can afford to take forward to develop as new tests and treatments.

To date, the 'Stand up to Cancer' National campaign has raised over £8 million pounds which is fantastic. However, we know it takes about £500 million to to take a drug all the way from the lab to the market; this figure takes into account all of the treatments that didn't make it.

Therefore, I personally feel that a faster way to close this monetary gap between scientific discoveries and bringing those treatment to the patients, was if the world's most profitable corporations all collaborated together and donated a small percentage of their pre-tax earnings to Cancer Research UK.

The more ideas that they can test, the more likely they are to get new treatments to patients faster. And as I say, there are many treatments that are on the cusp of being brought to market.

This may appear to be a large 'ask' of our profitable organisations, however sometimes the simplest ideas are the most effective if you have the collective power of many people.

We are being lied to in our faces. Our planet is being used up because it is cheaper for them to do so. We have the means and the will. Now it is time to request what is rightfully ours.

This is the Future Manifesto.

It only asks for a chance.

16. Animes Global (Get Finished)

Hello, I am Kara I would like to inform all of you that I dont like unfinished Anime. So please if all of you could, finish the Anime you've started I'd be very grateful. Well Thank you for your time.

Sincerely, Kara G.

17. Human Trafficking: Help Raise Awareness and Bring it Before Parliament!!

Human Trafficking is a very profitable industry for those involved. But the people being trafficked are often stripped of their rights and freedoms and become 2nd class citizens to their captors. Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world.

Revenue from trafficked persons is estimated to be between 5 to 9 billion US dollars per year. In Canada, the RCMP estimate that 600-800 people are trafficked into Canada annually and that an additional 1,500 to 2,200 people are trafficked through Canada into the United States.

Many of the people being trafficked are either women or children, that are then funneled into other industries such as free labour market and prostitution.

If we can get enough people to sign this we can get this topic raised during parliament. This is all about raising awareness and getting the Canadian Government to do more for this pressing issue.

18. We demand real democracy based on the Declaration of Human Rights in all the nations of the world

I believe that a society functions best when all of its citizens feel safe, and free. I believe that this can be achieved in a truly democratic society with laws based on the Declaration of Human Rights. There might be a better system, but I believe that the best way to find that out is for all of us to be safe and free enough to discuss this.

If you believe the same, please sign this petition - no matter where in the world you live. One of our main resources is the human resource. Lets together tell the leaders of the world that we want societies in which we can harvest this resource in the best way possible. Leaders of the world - join in and tell each other the same.

If you think that you live in a country that already has a good democracy, please note that in the comment field and sign for the rest of the world. If you have a suggestion on how democracy can work better, in the world and/or in your country - use the comment field to add your thoughts. Please sign this petition if you oppose water fluoridation.

22. Humanity's Team WE ARE ONE Petition

Toward a new humanity, a new earth, and a New Spirituality.

Humanity's Team is collecting 50,000 signatures to get the United Nations to declare a Oneness Day, a day set aside and embraced by individuals, communities and nations for humanity to celebrate, discuss and experience our similarities as well as our rich cultural diversities -- our Oneness -- a day to unite with the entire universe as one human family.

The first step takes 30 seconds. Join us in signing the petition. As we remember who and what we are on that day, we soon realize who and what we are every day! And then we'll have heaven on earth!

The Petition's message: These special times call for special action. Humanity is divided and faced with so many life-threatening crises, that we need to change our world view if we wish to preserve life as we know it.

This is a dramatic statement, but it's true. The status quo doesn't work any more.

We've got to stand together and declare that terrorism and anti-terrorism, the financial collapse and selective government bailouts, ecological devastation and uneven environmental enforcement, and the many other divisive and destructive conditions and policies in this world must end.

And for those divisive and destructive conditions and policies to end, the underlying beliefs that created and perpetuate them must change.

We've got to realize something we already know - and now officially declare once and for all: that we are all part of a unified whole with multiple dimensions, each complementing the other, We Are All One. In fact, the sooner we recognize this, the sooner the world's many life-threatening crises will end.

23. Allow Farmville Sharing

I am a huge supporter of Farmville and love the game more than any I have ever played before. It has a few issues but I still always come back as everyone else does also. My chief complaint however is that Zynga needs to change the rules a bit.

We should be able to share our gifts and fuel with our neighbors. I have over 3000 fuel refills and I am at level 66 already. This leaves me a few more levels to go and I am certainly never going to use all of this before I hit level 70. Also, I believe we should be allowed to give the gifts we cannot use to our neighbors.

Why not make it more interesting by doing this? I have over 250 neighbors and they all agree with me on this one.

24. Establish a Royal Commission to determine the cause and extent of Global Warming

1. The United Nations through the auspices of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change have formed an opinion that global warming, is increasing at an alarming rate and that global warming is primarily caused by human activity namely the production and emission of Carbon Dioxide;

2. The said Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s opinion is primarily based largely on data, computer programs, and opinions obtained from the East Anglia University Climate Research Unit;

3. Recent disclosures of the emails and files of the said East Anglia University Climate Research Unit has created a reasonable doubt as to the accuracy of the data employed and the viability of the computer modeling methodology employed; the objectivity of the scientists who provided data, graphs, statistical analysis, and opinions to the said Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change;

4. Recent disclosures of emails and files of the Said East Anglia University Climate Research raise reasonable doubts as to the accuracy and objectivity of the Reports of the said Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change;

5. Adoption of policies recommended by the United Nations on Climate Change will necessitate:
a. A huge increase in energy costs for Canadian Citizens;
b. Adoption of public policies and programs which will place Canadian Industries and Businesses at a competitive disadvantage on the international market;
c. Adoption of public policies and programs which will require the transfer of large amounts of wealth from Canadian Citizens, Businesses, and the Public Purse to foreign governments;
d. Adoption of public policies and programs which will jeopardize the sovereign right of Canada as a nation to formulate its own energy and environmental policies;

25. Preservation of Bushland at Edith Cowan University

Edith Cowan University management have no plans to maintain the majority of bushland areas on the university grounds. It is likely that these areas will be flattened for future development.

Why is this important?
- ECU campuses are known for their iconic Australian bushland surroundings.
- There are currently no intentions to preserve extensive areas of existing bushland at ECU Joondalup campus.
- Urbanisation is a major contributing factor toward climate change, clearing native bushland areas will promote an environmentally irresponsible image for ECU in this respect.
- The bushland areas support a range of native wildlife.
- The surrounding bushland at ECU provide a positive and relaxing learning environment for students.
- These areas are valued by the community outside of ECU.

Ensure the continued existence of bushland areas at all Edith Cowan University campuses by signing the online petition for protected Edith Cowan University bushland areas.

26. Meat Free Monday in Thailand

The connection between meat consumption or animal agriculture & environmental pollution is scientifically proven time and time again. What we eat impacts our health and the health of the environment.

According to a 2006 report by the United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), entitled Livestock's Long Shadow: it stated that livestock production is responsible for 18 percent of all greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions which is more than all the cars, trains and planes combined.

Due to the impact that meat has on the environment, we need to reduce our consumption of this carbon intensive product as an effective solution to the climate change crisis. This petition calls for Thai Government to take action now that will show Thailand’s commitment to tackling Climate Change.

We urge the government to promote every Monday as a day when the citizens of Thailand will abstain from meat products in an effort to protect the environment and halt global warming.

We call on everyone’s support in expressing to Thai Government the need for Thailand to adopt and promote a meat free Monday.

So please sign this petition and forward it to your friends and family.

27. STOP printed Phone directories

28.4 million Yellow Pages per year (official)
22 million Thomson Local per year (official)

How many are used? and at what environmental cost?

This delivery system comes with at massive environmental cost. Not only with the printing and paper used but with the distribution to every home and business.

How many of use just pick them up and put them straight in the bin? or save them and never use them.

With Global Warming being such a huge problem its time to stop this system of waste. We need to create an 'op-in' delivery program. This is we the printed versions are only delivered upon request therefore eliminating pointless waste.

Join this Protest and help us to live in an environmentally cleaner UK.

This is the first protest from 'The Waste Project'. A project looking for a sustainable world.

28. 25 July, International Day Against Dictatorship

Following the electoral fraud of 12 June 2009 in Iran and the repressive measures imposed by the outgoing government of Mahmoud AHMADINEJAD, a worldwide day of protest, IRAN GLOBAL DAY, was organized on the 25 July 2009 in solidarity with the Iranian people in the name of freedom and democracy in Iran and against dictatorship.

The participation of thousands of people around the world was not only a triumph for the Iranian people who thus received the backing of the international community in its struggle against dictatorship, but also a victory for men and women of all origins around the world who, thanks to the Internet and new information technologies, managed to mobilize in the defense of the rights of a repressed people in its struggle against a totalitarian regime that had become a danger to the whole of humanity.

In a global world in which the fate of all individuals, peoples and nations is increasingly interconnected, the defence of human rights of a people living under conditions of tyranny is an issue that concerns us all. United we can act more effectively in the struggle against dictatorship and dictators for peace in the world.

30. Understanding the life and death of Michael jackson

The death of Michael Jackson raises questions like: why and how could this happen... this petition is only for those who would like to contribute to an understanding of this issue... I will start it off with the following post:
Some diarists, poets and artists, like Evelyn Waugh and Michael Jackson, among a host of others, have a taste for exaggeration and fantasy. Indeed, exaggeration appears to be a major problem in our celebrity culture and in autobiography generally. Perhaps this is because, as Oscar Wilde once wrote: “Where there is no exaggeration there is no love, and where there is no love there is no understanding. It is only about things that do not interest one--that one can give a really unbiased opinion; and this is no doubt the reason why an unbiased opinion is always valueless.”1 -Ron Price with thanks to Oscar Wilde in the magazine Speaker, July, 1891. I think Wilde is a little over the top here, but his words exhibit a clever turn of phrase containing what is often, it seems to me anyway, an important facet of the truth of a question or issue. --Ron Price with thanks to Oscar Wilde in Robin Markowitz's article "Reconstructing Michael Jackson: Close Readings of Pop-Works," Stranger in a Strange Land: Internet Site, April 2004.
