Purpose of this petition is to make sure the buck limits in West Virginia are based off of recommendations from the West Virginia DNR game biologists and Commission.
We would also propose that any bills to cut the buck limit down and a license/tag increase not be supported by the West Virginia DNR, Legislators and Director McDaniel. We would agree to a small but fair increase if needed as long as the limit stays at a 3 buck limit and the increase would go toward hiring more NRPO.
We, the undersigned, call on the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources and the WV DNR Commissioners to set the annual antlered bag limit as recommended by our West Virginia Game Biologists. We oppose a increase in our license and tags for the purpose of a lower buck limit.
