Yet, the corrupt bureaucrats of WSIB have developed a secret strategy to set up young permanent injured workers with problems so they do not survive long. The early fatality of young workers reduces the amount of paying out benefits to the victim workers. As a result, it offsets the cost of corrupt and counterproductive administration.
WSIB has been very successful because they have all the resource to hide their fraud from public and use false and manipulated statistics to deceive federal government to justify their existence. They claim that they have corrected the system and that is way their cost has reduced. In reality, the system is still ineffective. Instead, young works have been sacrificed because their claims cost the most.
Hence, I was a 26 years old auto-body technician in Sarnia Ontario when my back was injured at work in May 2005. Five months later, the result of MRI revealed a moderate disc bulging in L5-S1. The finding was considered as a 15% permanent injury and it was confirmed by WSIB’s specialists.
After one year my lawyer managed to have WSIB to pay for my retraining program. On one hand WSIB was generous; on the other hand, they secretly sent agents to set me up with problems. The secret agents were well educated and had a lot of information about my history. They were instructed to bully me, put me in trouble with public and even with the law.
I have reported misconduct to the authorities whom I thought had the power to stop the crime, but they stayed indifference.
In 2013, I revealed WSIB’s secret policy in class at Fanshawe College. Immediately, the WSIB was informed of my speech by WSIB’s spy. WSIB forced me to see a psychiatrist and warned me to stop telling my experience to public or otherwise they would have put me in serious problem. I was frightened and had no choice except being submissive.
After graduating with a business diploma, I have continuously tried to find an employment, but I failed. It was not because I did not have any opportunity, but because WSIB was punishing me for telling the truth. They have hacked and have been monitoring my all form of communication.
On February 2016, I had to escape from WSIB persecution from Ontario to Burnaby British Columbia. In my new home, I found a good job and I felt privileged and successful. But soon after WSIB was informed of my new residence, the corrupt bureaucrat of WSIB started to set me up with new problems. This is another active of retaliation on me because I proudly blew a whistle on their crime against Ontario’s young permanent injured workers in Fanshawe College.
I am privileged to know people who have been protecting me from WSIB. But many young workers with a lot of potential have been victimized. Therefore, WSIB has become Workers Slaughter Insurance Board.
Certainly, many hard working and honest people are employed by WSIB. But they do not know the truth that their efforts are being used for immoral objectives. I am very optimistic and willing to work together in order to eliminate corruption and promote efficiency in our society. Though, it is vital that public and policy makers know the truth in order to make an informed correction.
