Women and Children's Department Nursing Uniforms

The nurses working within the Women and Children's Departments at Rush University Medical Center have had the capability to wear scrubs of any color or pattern.
In NICU, PICU and on the general pediatric floor the nurses have worn bright, cheerful colors in kid friendly patterns which helps to not only give a professional appearance but one our patient's can relate to. Black scrubs are not a very cheerful, child endearing color and may even be scary.
We, the undersigned, call on Rush University Medical Center nursing administration to give the nurses of the Women and Children's division exemption from wearing black scrubs for the good of our patients.
