Winsford Town Centre - We have had a fantastic new junction built, The Civic Hall knocked down, Shops closing because of high rent due to the Council selling our Town Centre to Ireland! £28-33k rents for the premises, why would any Sole Trader open up??
Normandy furniture shop (has been there as long as I remember) and Dorothy Perkins, another 2 victims due to these phenomenal charges and 15 year leases.
We are asking the Council to buy back our Town! How can you permit extra houses being built when there are not enough shops to house these, meaning people are travelling out of our town to do their shopping instead of supporting our Community.
We, the undersigned, call on the Cheshire West and Chester Council to improve our Town Centre.
