Etoile is a small, but strong community with huge potential for business. Located 19 miles East of Lufkin, on Highway 103. Surrounded by several other remote communities and subdivisions, many people have to drive more than 50 miles round trip to get groceries, medicine, etc.. With Lake Sam Rayburn surrounding the several communities, it's a great asset for a thriving business as well as making life easier on those who live in the area. So please consider our area. We the undersigned call upon Walmart to build a neighborhood market in our area. There are several communities in this area that would support a small town grocery /department store. It's at least 50 miles round trip for most of us living in a remote area, such as Etoile, Ewing, Kingtown, Woden, Norwood and many subdivisions in the surrounding lake area. It would also be helpful if there was a pharmacy in this area. There are many seniors as well as others that would appreciate not having to drive so far for groceries or medicine. We're not asking for a Supercenter, but something to fit our practical needs. Etoile is a hot spot for a business, and we welcome yours. Please consider moving to our area. Thanks.
