Hi everyone!
Focus on the Family's (FOTF) healthy relationships programme has come under a lot of unjustified flak these few days. Through this petition, we would like to honour FOTF's work as a service provider, sharing their knowledge on building healthy relationships and arising from that, families.
We believe that FOTF should not be subjected to such harsh criticism, much of them unwarranted and callous. We would instead like to thank the curriculum designers and facilitators who had developed the appropriate material and delivered them tirelessly! Instead of tearing down, we hope to provide an avenue for people to show their appreciation and build up. :)
This petition seeks to right the injustice done to a reputable, pro-family organisation. Never in our wildest dreams could we entertain the thought that FOTF is promoting a rape culture. Neither do we condone efforts of some to single out FOTF for criticism on the basis of their religious values or beliefs.
We would like to thank you in advance if you would like to sign the petition here as a note of appreciation for FOTF. This petition will conclude in 48 hours and we hope to garner as many signatories as possible in these 48 hours.
