Inspired by the 11 September 2011 'Naked City' article proposing a 'Cock-O-Rail' approach to preserving Sydney's monorail system and providing an alternative to the proposed culling of cockatoos at Potts Point. Both are fantastic - why not preserve (combine?) them?

Dear Lord Mayor Clover Moore
We, the undersigned, ask you to consider a 'Cock-O-Rail' approach (see 'Naked City' 11 September 2011) to preserving Sydney's monorail system and providing an alternative to the proposed culling of cockatoos at Potts Point . . . as both cockatoos and the monorail system contribute uniquely to what makes Sydney a world leading city and fantastic place to live and visit.
As vexing as both cockatoos and the monorail system (in its current state) can be at times, we, the undersigned, recognise and embrace (gingerly) cockatoos and the monorail system as important and unique elements of our shared heritage and social fabric.
We urge you to consider initiatives, projects and endeavors (including possible unique fusions) that preserve or enhance both.
