Rahul Dravid has been DROPPED from the Indian team.
He is said to have been rested but I doubt this. If he was, then he would have been practicing along with his team mates ahead of the pakistan series and not playing Ranji matches.
There is no evidence to suggest that Rahul had lack of form. He was one of the top run getters in England.
There are other players in the Indian team who are not performing any better. In fact some of them like Harbhajan, Zaheer and Agarkar for instance haven't been performing from time immemorial.
Rahul Dravid has been unfairly dropped from the one day cricket team.
He is one of the greatest players in world cricket today.
We need Rahul back in the team. He is India's best cricket player. He is the most selfless and honest cricketer in world cricket today. He deserves respect and not shabby treatment like this. This is not the way to treat an icon like him. He is a thorough gentleman and a professional.
Rahul Dravid is the perfect role model for the youth of India. He exemplifies what a true sports person is all about.
Let us give this hard working diligent person the respect due and reinstate him in to the Indian team again at number 3, his favorite position where he has for so many years won us matches.
The chairman of selectors should not act based on his personal grievances. This is a sport and not a marriage or a relationship.
We, the undersigned call on the BCCI and Vengsarkar to reinstate Rahul Dravid in to the Indian cricket team with immediate effect.
