Members of the gaming community unite to demand withdrawal of frivolous lawsuit

In 1974 Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson created a fantasy tabletop role playing game called Dungeons and Dragons. Over the years many have attempted to tell the story of the creation of this cultural phenomenon but never quite seem to get the whole story. For the past few years there has been a crippling lawsuit filed against one such party.

West paw films has been trying to prevent Fantasy Game Films from finishing their project. What West paw is trying to achieve through this frivolous motion is to essentially shut down any other independent filmmakers attempts at preserving the history of the game and also those who were there along during the creation.

The inhumane actions by West paw films is spoiling and tainting the very essence of the rich history behind a game that so many love. Because of this ongoing lawsuit we have already lost some of the influential people who were there in the beginning. Let's not lose the voices and experiences of those that were closely connected to the originating sources of this game that we as gamer's love so much.

The families of those involved in this rich history will be bitterly disappointed if both of these documentaries are not finished and released.
