Our garbages are littered with recyclables. Tim Hortons cups are a prime example of recyclable goods being thrown out and not recycled.
Does anyone go through the garbage at the end of the day to sort the recycling? When questioned about the recycling situation the argument is that each floor has several recycling bins. This does not take into account that students are carrying books, bags, computers ect. and want to rid themselves of the goods immediately instead of looking around for recycling bins.
Also, there is limited time between classes and students may not pass a readily available recycling when they are en route.
We petition that Nipissing and Canadore provide and maintain recycle bins in EVERY classroom in the school, to do their part for the environment.
