Iran’s Supreme leader is sending his representative to the UN General Assembly again to take advantage of this important tribune for his inhumane and malicious propaganda.

The delegation sent by Ali Khamenei, the brutal dictator of Iran, does not represent Iranian people; the illegitimate ruler is pursuing his own secret agenda, defying free will of Iranian people, breaching international obligations and ignoring values and virtues of humanity.

Neda is the real voice of Iran, who was shot dead in the streets of Tehran in June 2009 after the Iranian fraudulent Presidential Election. They murdered Neda to silence the free voice of Iran, but to their dismay, her voice has become stronger and louder not only in Iran, but has spread all over the world.

The Hon Kevin Rudd MP Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs
We appreciate your consistent and continuous support for people of Iran and the Green Movement in recent times, not only as minister, but also previously as the Prime Minister and earlier as the leader of opposition.

Dear Minister,
There are a large number of Iranian academics, artists, lawyers, unionists, students, religious leaders, political activists and journalists in prisons, mostly arrested and jailed without a fair trial or any trial at all.

Mrs. Nasrin Sotoudeh, a human rights lawyer and activist, has been kept in jail without a proper trial, sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment.

Mr. Jafar Panahi, a prominent Iranian film director is heavily and unjustly sentenced, being accused of planning to make a movie.
Ms. Haleh Sahabi a pro-democracy activist and women's rights campaigner was killed by government agents at her father’s funeral in June 2011. She was being held at Tehran's Evin prison, but had been given temporary leave to attend the funeral.
Mr. Mansour Osanloo, President of the Tehran Bus Workers’ Union, was dragged from a Tehran bus by Iranian security forces in 2007. Three months later he was sentenced to five years in prison on charges of “acting against national security” and “propaganda against the state”; in 2010 another year was added to his sentence. His only crime has been to help found a genuinely democratic trade union for his fellow bus drivers in Iran.

Many Iranian students are in prisons, Mr. Majid Tavakoli, a prominent member of Iran’s student movement, was taking part in National Student Day protests against alleged fraud in the last presidential elections. He was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison.
Ms. Bahareh Hedayat, an executive member of Iran’s national student organization, Daftar-e Tahkim-e Vahdat, was sentenced to 9.5 years in prison.
Ms. Mahdieh Golroo, a member of the Council for the Defence of the Right to Education, is now serving a 4.5-years term in prison. Hedayat and Golroo have twice gone on hunger strikes to protest their harsh treatment in prison and to push for the right to be visited by their families.

Dear Minister,

We greatly appreciate your accurate and strongly worded report on Iran to the Parliament House earlier this year among other effective efforts.

Now we ask you to further support Iranians by increasing international pressure on the illegitimate rulers in Tehran, aiming at expulsion of Iranian delegates from all international arenas including General Assembly of UN later this week.
At this particular instance we ask you to walk out of the assembly when the representatives of the Islamic Republic start to speak.
