PETITION TO VOID APPROVAL of Residential Planned Development Ordinance Number 15622 Located at 1626-1736 South Prairie Avenue Chicago, IL 60616 (also known as X/O Condominiums) to ensure appropriate infrastructure, impact studies, design reviews, and adherence to the Near South Community Plan, City of Chicago Central Plan, and Zoning Ordinance are completed.
I, the undersigned, certify and acknowledge that I am a resident or property owner in the City of Chicago.
By signing this petition, I state and hereby announce that I OPPOSE referenced project noted as X/O Condominiums, including a 44+ story & 33 story tower located on Prairie Avenue, as this project does not adhere to the intent of the Near South Community & Chicago Central Plans to “protect and enhance the scale, character, and sensitive infill” of the Prairie District and surrounding areas; Nor does it meet City of Chicago Zoning Ordinance 17-8-0903 indicating that “Planned developments must be consistent with Plans Adopted by the Plan commission or Approved by City Council.”
I also SUPPORT a request to require review and disclose information used to present, review, influence or approve the project including infrastructure & impact studies (traffic, sewer, roads), disclosures, DPD and Alderman letters and correspondence.
