Va Beach Local Bands play throughout the seasons... including the rainy ones.... I'm sure that it hasn't been brought to the proper city officials, but something needs to be done about the 7th St Boardwalk Music Venue. 7th st needs to be revamped. When it rains, it pours and the Huge umbrellas not only have holes in them, they are set up for failure when a storm comes through. Rain literally funnels to and through the center of the stage. Increasing the likelihood of major sound and equipment destruction. Please... someone pay attention to our local artists. If they can't survive the storms... well, they just can't play. We the undersigned call on the City of Virginia Beach to upgrade and make safe our 7th street stage for the Bands that play there. We are hoping for a more protective covering to protect equipment and people.
