Hair booms were used in the 2008 in the Guimaras island in the Philippines, more then 500,000 liters of bukter oil was gushed into the ocean. Hair booms are filled with synthetic materials such as hair, fur, feathers, fleece and laundry lint. The reason we are doing the UAE is because most of its economy is from oil, and Dubai wants to decrease its carbon footprint. Oil spills have many cons and is overall just harmful for the environment.
When people sign our petition, we wanе the UAE to start cleaning up its oil spills. If there big or even if they are small and using the method of hair booms.
