History dictates that at many corporate and non-corporate entities require a drug test be administered for new employment and continued employment in many cases. Taxes from said employment supports many local and federal programs including welfare.
Typically many welfare recipients require no drug testing or proof of employment. Those individuals are receiving funds from CT and all US tax payers. A drug test is a fair request of those recipients and of those who fail, they should be denied those benefits.
We the undersigned are opposed to continually forfeiting our hard earned income taxes to support welfare recipients that cannot pass a simple drug test!
We request that as long as US taxpayers are forced to take drug tests to gain lawful employment and pay taxes (local and federal for many programs), that recipients of our hard work must also forego that same screening process in order to receive funds in which they did not labor for.
