The upper fields is the location to a number of activities on BYU-I campus, but it is also the close to the homes of married students and their families. There has been a lot of complaint that the activities in the upper fields disturb the living conditions of the families at night, especially when in the spring when people want to keep the windows open to sleep at night. The intended idea is that the activities follow a the established Rexburg law of quiet time at 10:00 pm, allowing the students to still have their actives and married families to rest peacefully at night.
We, the families of University Village, call on Student Activities to end all sanctioned sporting activity with all lights off at 10:00 pm.
