The University of Illinois at Chicago has yet to provide the medical campuses at Rockford and Peoria with a formal student fees allocation for the 2017-2018 academic year. These fees pay for student services that we all enjoy at our respective campuses, and finance crucial events for incoming students such as orientation. The University of Illinois College of Medicine is required to provide students at satellite campuses with resources that are equivalent to those provided to students in Chicago. Without a formal budget that accounts for the increase in the size of our student bodies with incoming M1s, this will not be feasible.
Please sign below if you would like to add your name to the petition to be sent to the Student Fee Advisory Committee and the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs requesting a formal budget for student fees including those allotted to the M1s of our respective campuses.
