TVJ, Please Show Indian TV Serials

Dear Television Jamaica,

Indian TV serials have become the staple for most of us during our lunch hour. They educate us about important values and lessons such as family, love, and respect for elders. Sadly, many of these values are barely recognized in the Jamaica. This is why the Indian shows are so refreshing to us.

Since they have been introduced to us on another local channel, they have caused many of us, especially those of us who are middle-class, to bond with people around the country through social media sites. We live by the virtue of love for each other and help resolve conflicts among our members simple because of the family nature these shows teach us.

However, the current crop of shows on the other channel lack enthusiasm and interest. So, we are asking you to accept our request and bring us Indian shows that will surely peak our interest because they help us understand the importance of family values to the community and the country in general.

Shows about falling in love, coming of age, trump over trials, friendship etc will suit us best. Here are few suggestions: ISS PYAAR KO KYA NAAM DOON, GEET, YEH HAI MOHABBATEIN, SARASWATICHANDRA, (EK HASEENA THI), DIYA AUR BAATI HUM, ZAARA.. PYAAR KI SAUGAT, ISHQBAAZ, and KUCH RANG PYAAR KE AISE, RANGRASIYA.

We know you are the people's choice for family entertainment in this beloved country of ours. This is one of the reasons we choose you to bring us entertainment to our lives each day.
