Transform Lancefield: relocate recently constructed Powercor Transformer

A huge metalic box, electrical transformer, has been erected on the historical plantation in the centre of the Lancefield township.
Whilst Powercor have the right to erect such transformers without planning approval and had received approval on technical grounds from the council, we still find their choice of location shows no commonsense and is particularly insensitive to the community of Lancefield and visitors to our beautiful main street.
The Mayor has said he will approach council to support us in getting Powercor to relocate the transformer if we can get 1000 signatures.
We, the undersigned,have signed this petition to seek the Macedon Ranges Shire council's support for the relocation of the recently constructed Powercor Transformer located on the centre Plantation of High Street Lancefield and the the Council advocate to Powercor on behalf of the community for this outcome.
