Recently there has been a significant increase in the volume of traffic, using Nathan Street, Brighton as a through-road.
Not only has this shattered the peace of the neighbourhood but the high speed of the cars, travelling on this road, poses a threat to the well-being and safety of residents, particularly the elderly and young children.
We, the undersigned, call on the Brisbane City Council to construct traffic calming infrastructure to address the problem of through-traffic speeding down Nathan Street, Brighton.
