Walsham le Willows has a successful Sports Club serving both adults and children. The site is positioned on both sides of Summer Road, the main road into the village, and thus entails crossing from one side to the other during training, matches, fund raising and other events. We would urge the local District Council to help us with traffic calming measures to lessen the risk of accidents, via speed restrictions, a crossing, or other method.
We, the undersigned, call on Suffolk County Council to install traffic calming measures on Summer Road, Walsham le Willows, at the part of the road where the Walsham le Willows Sports Club occupies sites on both sides of this main road into the village.
