South Africa has a solution for township & rural empowerment, xenophobia & an alternative tax revenue stream.
Our communities are riddled with Spaza shops in almost every street.
South African Government is faced with condemnation from neighbouring countries regarding xenophobia, and government is in a conundrum as to solving this problem.
Government has industrialization programs that can empower local businesses and in the process solve xenophobia.
Furthermore Government can intun benefit via tax revenue from this informal market which is worth billions.
If people have have a sense of ownership they will fight to keep Foreigners as they are benefiting from them financially.
Communities are the anchor of thousands of spaza's across South Africa.
Why not create sustainable businesses through this outlets.
TEP LEGACY has a strategy to ensure that locals are not just consumers but are part of the value chain and benefit.
We the undersigned call on the South African Government & parastatals to collaborate & initiate the TEP LEGACY initiative.
