I am starting this petition because I am sick and tired of hearing and reading about these child sex offenders with a long history of offenses back to into society and re-offending. This is just an outrage!
Someone with possession of Marijuana gets a stiffer penalty then some of these sex offenders do. We need to change the sentencing laws against the child sex offenders and murderers.
First, it will act as a deterrent when they know what the penalties are when they get caught. That will make them think twice and doubling our chances that one our children won't be molested or worse.
Two, it's a known fact that almost all sex offenders get out on light sentences and go out and repeat their offenses. So new sentencing laws will deter and it will stop them from re-offending again.
We have to protect our children people.
We, the undersigned, call on all law makers to change the sentencing laws for child sex offenders and murderers.
The penalty for child molestation, carnal knowledge of a juvenile and all other sexual based crimes against a child should be- Life without the possibility of parole.
And the sentence for child murder is the death penalty. It's a fact that they almost all repeat their crimes once out of jail. Don't give them that opportunity. Life with out parole. And anyone sick enough to kill a child, deserves the death penalty.
