#1: four year terms for any mayor of New Bedford MA. That will replace our current two year terms allowing the mayor more time to focus on city issues
#2: three two year terms for New Bedford city councilors a total of six years remember that we the New Bedford residents will pay for retirement pension and medical coverage under the present system
#3: to rescind the New Bedford city councilors 44% pay raise that they are currently recieving.
We the undersigned would like to have this petition put on the ballot of New Bedford's election October 2013.
