To Object and Petition against DBKL's approval of development of Land reserved for the extension and through road of Jalan Jejaka 1 and Jalan Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur.
1. Lot 810, Seksyen 90, Lorong Peel, Kuala Lumpur is reserved for the extension of Jalan Jejaka 1 to Lorong Peel with a connection to Jalan Permaisuri, which has been documented in Development Masterplan of DBKL since before year 2000.
2. The purpose of this extension is to connect 2 main roads and Jalan Permaisuri, which will ease the heavy traffic congestion around the area. However, a 45 storey condominium has recently been approved by DBKL to be build on the land reserved for the extension of Jalan Jejaka 1.
3. The notice board for new development which was supposed to be displayed for 14 days per legal requirement was not fulfilled. (It was displayed for less than 5 days.)
4. The proposed development approved by DBKL will not only deprived all of the very purpose of this planned road, but also will worsen the traffic condition of that area.
We, the undersigned, object and petition against the approval granted by DBKL for the development on the reserved land of Lot 810, Seksyen 90, Lorong Peel, Kuala Lumpur. We too demand transparency and justification from DBKL for the approval of the proposed development.
