There is League Championship Series in the United States of America, Europe and Asia but no similar competitions in Africa.
Africa is a huge continent that has millions of people playing League of Legends who do not have the privilege of participating in such competitions. If one desired to participate it would be quite demanding as we'd have to travel to either America or Asia or Europe.
Creating a Northern & Southern African LCS would be exciting for Africans who have been playing for fun but would now play for esteem.
If Riot games introduced this, it would serve as a statement to Africa that "We consider you too in the world of LCS". And it will definitely make the World Championship a whole lot more interesting.
