A new logo has been unveiled for the London 2012 Olympics. It is an insult to art, culture and sport and an embarrassment, portraying our country in a negative way. The logo is destructive in its design, and spells the word Zion, having a religious connotation, which should be kept out of sport.
The original London 2012 Logo was far superior, with classical design and flow. We need to return to the original one, or have a completely new design.
It is a great privilege to have the Olympics coming to London and the UK, with its great ideals and aims. It is therefore imperative to change this disgraceful logo to a design of harmony and beauty befitting the Olympic ideals.
It is hoped that this petition will carry on from the first one, which reached 48615 signatures.
We, the undersigned, call upon the London Olympic Committee to scrap and change the ridiculous and insulting logo unveiled for the London 2012 Olympics.
