On March 19, 2020, President Trump first told Americans that Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) was a possible treatment for COVID-19. The mainstream media immediately told the public HCQ would kill them.
We believe this is an egregious political move by certain Democrats and the Mainstream Media outlets to create fear and panic in their efforts to keep Americans locked down with no concern for the health and well-being of the American people.
We believe Americans have died needlessly because physicians have been blocked from prescribing HCQ.
We the undersigned, call on Governor Kevin Stitt to allow Oklahoma physicians and Pharmacists to prescribe and provide Hydroxychloroquine to Oklahomans who have tested positive for COVID-19. Frontline doctors from across the United States gathered t0gether on the steps of the SCOTUS on July 28, 2020. Among , them: Dr. Bob Hamilton, Pediatrician from Santa Monica, Dr. Emmanuel, Houston, TX, and Dr. Dan Erickson to name just a few. They discussed their successful use of HCQ to successfully treat patients. They also addressed mental and health issues from being locked down.
