The Match Pit Night Ticket subscription reached 150 in the summer of the 2015/16 season and virtually every weekend and many weekdays were fully booked up until late September. This meant that many anglers could not night fish and this was the cause of many complaints.
The otter fence project was completed on the promise that the number of night tickets would be held at 150 and monitored before any increase in ticket numbers. The fact that weekends and many weekdays were full and the number of disgruntled anglers indicates that the Match Pit Night Ticket was oversubscribed.
The proposal for 180 night tickets by C.P.T.A.C has never been seen before and a membership of this number will prevent many members the chance to night fish the Match Pit and could potentially cause all number of additional issues around the lake.
We, the undersigned, call on the C.P.T.A.C to cap Match Pit Night Tickets to 150.
