The Hollywood Sign is an American Icon, and in fact the most famous sign in the world. At the time it was erected it had lights to catch the eye, and was visible at night. Eight decades later it still stands as Hollywood's most recognized land mark.
However, today The Hollywood Sign sits in the dark and has no lights.
Therefore this Petition has been started to gather as many signatures as possible to try and get the city of Los Angeles to add lights to make the The Hollywood Sign visible at night once again.
We, the undersigned, request that city of Los Angeles take action to add lights to the The Hollywood Sign. So it can be seen in the dark!!
