The government should change the waiting period for an investigation to start when an adult is reported missing.
This should be changed because the first 48 hours are the most crucial hours people could get hurt or even be killed during that time. There's the case of Amy Henslee, she was reported missing and 5 days later she was found dead; if the police would have started the investigation right away maybe she would still be alive.
No more having to wait 48 hours before the police can start an investigation when an adult is reported missing.
