Over 400 people die every year on ATV's, and Florida is in the top 10 for the most deaths.
In 2002 alone, 44 children died and 30,300 youths were injured as a result of ATV accidents.
ATV-related accidents have killed nearly 6,000 people in the past two decades. All-terrain vehicles have been linked to some 5,800 deaths since 1982.
Due to the rising number of fatalities in our area, we are petitioning to have ATVs banned from our area. And to have them only riden on professional tracks. Our roads are too dangerous for them.
