In light of the recent problems with data protection at Talk Talk, many customers who have been with them under 18 months are still being told to pay the early exit charges when they are asking to leave.

I am a Talk Talk customer and I have lost all trust and confidence in them. I want to leave, but I am being held to ransom, pay over £200 before you can leave.

Talk Talk have all but admitted they have failed their customers, but the call centres are refusing to let people go without paying hefty charges.

I want to hear from other Talk Talk customer who are experiencing these issues and let's try and get Talk Talk to do the decent thing. Let us leave without paying the penalty charges. Mine is £221. After everything that has happened, how can they expect people to stay with them who care about their personal information.

They have let their customers down in so many ways, they have been attacked 3 times in 9 months, this is negligence.

Social Media is a buzz with experts claiming that they should have done more to protect our data, they have failed their customers, but they still won't let us leave without paying penalties.

Dido Harding, CEO of Talk Talk, has told the news that she "doesn't know" if the data was encrypted. For a company as large as Talk Talk, handling sensitive information such as passwords, bank details and credit cards numbers, the answer from her should have been, "YES, of course we encrypt your data."

I found out out this purely by accident watching the news. They didn't contact me until 48 hours after the cyber attack.

The Talk Talk call centres are claiming they are the victim. They have been attacked three times, once is unlucky, twice is questionable, three times is negligent.
