30 years ago Cincinnati's Riverfront Coliseum hosted the Who concert. There were over 18,000 people in attendance. When only a few doors were open, the people started to trample others to get inside the Coliseum, to get a good seat.
No one knew at the time they were trying to get into the concert and heard shortly after that 11 people had been trampled to death and a couple dozen people were injured.
We, the undersigned, call on Cincinnati's City Council to put a plaque up outside US Bank Arena, which was Cincinnati's Riverfront Coliseum, where 11 people that were attending the Who Concert there, December 3, 1979, were trampled to death.
This plaque would be in memory of these lives lost.
