Preamble: Introduce a bill requiring all veterinaries to scan for microchips on all incoming pets seeking service.
We, the undersigned, urge the State of Georgia to eventually pass a law giving families of lost and stolen animals some hope of finding their pets and to stop the crime of stealing animals from a safe environment and placing them in potential harm, which could lead to filling the Animal Shelters with unwanted animals or leaving the pets on the street.
