Columbia County was soliciting bids for Blanchard Woods Skate Park and BMX Facility. (8/14/2013 and ended 9/12/2013).
The community was told that $1 million dollars was too much for Columbia County to "break or move" ground to facilitate the building of this Park at the designated location of 4600 Blanchard Woods Park, Evans, GA 30809.
Please re-post the bid for another chance to find a company willing to accept a lower price.
We, the undersigned, call on the Columbia County Board of Commissioners to re-post the bid for the building of a Skateboard Park and BMX Facility in Columbia County, Georgia.
We beilieve there are businesses that would be able to build this facility at a lower anticipated cost and we would like the opportunity to present multiple concepts for consideration.
