In a pragmatic society like Singapore, what is important, especially as viewed by most parents, is that a good grade will be your train ticket to a comfortable life in future.
While this might be true, I feel that the education system has become an increasingly stressful one which stifles creativity, and that true change starts with changing our own attitudes.
