Trained Nurses Association of India ( TNAI) is gearing to protest the ministry of medical education plan to divide Maharashtra Nursing council into Maharashtra Nursing council and Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education.
A series of token protest all over Maharashtra on November 29 will be carried out across hospitals to condemn the move vehemently," said an official from TNAI. " This act will deprive our rights to manage our own profession. The international trend is to empower women for their personal and professional development and the government of Maharashtra is going to take steps that will weaken the nursing profession in which 99% are women.
By this act the government is bringing medical technicians at par with the nurses. The act is stated to have more provision for doctors and non- nursing authorities and than those of the nurses. So please sign up and support this cause.
