Little Mountain Neighbourhood House (LMNH) has been serving the needs of this diverse community, across the full spectrum of ages, cultures and abilities for almost three decades.
It presently provides services for 4,000 people annually out of its current facility on Main St. and ten offsite locations scattered throughout central Vancouver. The variety and volume of programs provided to the community requires a new facility and for the past ten years there has been consensus that LMNH has outgrown its current space.

Increase in project costs over the years required scaling back of the new house design. A recent cost assessment outlines a significant shortfall of funding, resulting in a 'Stop Work' being issued by The City of Vancouver. Vocal support from the community is needed now more than ever in order to ensure that this important project is maintained.
Thousands of hours of work and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been invested to get the project to this stage and to secure this important neighbourhood hub for the foreseeable future.

We, the undersigned, call for completing the new Little Mountain Neighbourhood House (LMNH) facility, so it can continue to meet and serve the vital needs of its new and established residents, across the full age spectrum and varying diversities.
The city of Vancouver is consistently ranked among the best cities in the world for quality of life. This is not the case for many of our neighbours, neighbours that need Little Mountain Neighbourhood House.
We understand that the Vancouver City Council plans to review the LMNH project in the near future and would like to voice our support for LMNH, a vital hub in central Vancouver that provides important services to our community.
LMNH deserves a chance to pursue avenues for securing the necessary funding from all levels of Canadian government and the private sector.
