With the introduction of the Bus Contracting Model (BCM), formerly known as the Government Contracting Model or GCM, our team have noticed a problem regarding the identification of companies (or in the official term, "Public Transport Operators" - PTOs) between buses. Due to the universal Lush Green livery and the fact that Tower Transit was the first to be awarded a package under the BCM, there has been much confusion - many Singaporeans refer to the Lush Green as being Tower Transit when this Lush Green colour is the colour the government uses to "show its ownership" of the bus infrastructure and the buses itself.
Our team have come up with a design called "LogoSwapConcept" or LSC. The design aims to improve the visibility of PTO logos by exchanging ("swapping") the positions of the SGBUS logo (of the Government) and the PTO logo. We believe that the suggestion, which has been submitted to the LTA for review, has been acknowledged by the LTA itself. However, we feel that the public should be made known about this revolutionary design concept - one that will help them a lot.
