LifeStream Behavioral Center is the designated community mental health center for Sumter County, FL and has been providing mental health and substance abuse services to its residents for more than 40 years.
Florida statutes require that contracted community alcohol, substance and mental health services and programs, except as identified in s. 394.457(3), shall require local participation on a 75-to-25 state-to-local ration.
I, the undersigned, am a resident of Sumter County, Florida and I support LifeStream Behavioral Center’s request to the Sumter County Board of County Commissioners for the continuation of $90,000 in funding to help offset the cost of providing indigent behavioral health services to residents of Sumter County.
